Yeah!!! I just ordered this morning about 7:30 A.M.! I am so happy and it's in the mail already! I should get it tomorrow Thursday! I just called *611 and pressed 0 to talk to human! Screw all those options I usually just hit 0 anywhere I call. I like to talk to a human :-) Now I just can't wait!

When I ordered I think the guy was clueless that these phones should not be out yet. Everything went as a normal procedure and he even asked did you have a problem ordering online? I told him that I haven't tried he said no problem and in about 5 minutes he got me all taken care of :-)

Just tried and didnt work. I have a sales rep as Hewlett Packard gets their own and he even couldn't order it. It is listed on their internal website but there is no order code.

For everyone that is "getting" the phone you better show pics or a video as I don't believe any of it. Even post a tracking number or a pic of the tracking page. Show some proof.

I am so getting it too tomorrow! He told me I should have in my hand no later than 3 P.M. EST!!! Oh I just can't wait! First try this morning the guy was so nice and so polite. He told me that yes it's a great phone and we have it in stock and yours will be shipping first thing today :-) He made it almost sound like it's officially out I guess he was a little up to speed! I am happy though! Verizon never let me down! Screw AT&T and Sprint!

Posting tracking numbers/pages will violate people's privacy as you can see their address.

There are already posted pics of people unboxing and holding their phones here:

It's a total waste if you're not going to pay for a data plan because there's no WIFI. What a shame for those frugal spenders.

I don't really care about WIFI I guess. You don't need a data plan with this phone. I have a regular plan old Americas Choice and the guy told me I should be fine. That would amazing if the web will work for me my current web plan is $5! So I will see how it goes tomorrow I just can't wait. I noticed web plan is $15 these days. There is no EVDO in my area though.

Right now I have an iPod Touch. It's got all of the multimedia stuff that the Dare will have (music/movies/etc). Now where the Dare has the advantage is that it's a phone, while the Touch is obviously not. However, the Touch comes with FREE (as in no extra money) internet service through wifi that I use all the time. Verizon wants $15 a month for the same thing.

Right now I have the Touch and an old crappy phone. I don't see why I need to buy the Dare when my Touch and old phone do everything the Dare will.

Well my friend, even though Your crappy phone & your touch can do everything the dare can do.It doesn't have a 3.2 mp camera/flash.So I hope you love lounging around with both products when you could be holding one.

That's the point. I CAN'T be holding just one if the Dare doesn't have WIFI, which is needed to make half of the apps on the Dare work if you don't want to pay for data service.

I just bought the LG Voyager 3 weeks ago but now I have been reading all of the hype about the LG Dare. The Voyager is a GREAT phone, especially because I am a text & IM addict...so the keyboard makes it a breeze. I am debating returning the Voyager for the Dare, but wanted to ask if you think the typing on the Dare will be as easy? The biggest features I want is call quality and ease of use for text messaging and instant messaging, so the typing feature is very important to me. What do you think, what's best for messaging, Dare or Voyager??????????

I heard rumors saying that the LG Dare is going to be much better & have great speed. So I would probably go with the Dare. But it's your decision my friend.Do you Dare to be different.

You have within 30 days to return it. My advice is to wait until the Dare is in a store near you, and then go play around with it. Choose the one that feels best to you since everybody has their own preferences on which phone is best for messaging :)

Same boat as you, got the Voyager for the Mobile TV purpose, Euro 2008 and Olympic 2008 are what I want to watch when there's no TV near. I actually had a chance to play with the Dare a few weeks ago (courtesy of Verizon employee on the upper of the food chain), anyway, I didn't like it at the time, thought it was slow and sluggish, but after seeing the version as they shown on Youtube, I have a change of heart, however, I wish it has Mobile TV. As far as Mobile IM and texting...I am a junky too...the keyboard on the Voyager is great but I believe that you adjust and adapt to your typing habit no matter what it is. So, should you change phone? I would if you don't need Mobile TV, as for me, I am still undecide...haha...so good luck.
