Having a problem with acne? Are people calling you "Pizza face" or worse? The answer is right under that huge blemish on your nose. Yes, your iPhone can help your acne as there is an app that is designed to clear up your face. Dermatologist Dr. Greg Pearson has developed "AcneAPP' that claims to cure acne and even improve wrinkles. For $1.99, the app is supposed to improve your skin while you talk by covering your face with 420 nanometer blue light which is supposed to have antibacterial properties, and 550 nanometer red light which is supposed to work as an anti-inflammatory to help your complexion.

Dr. Pearson told the New York Times that he is fascinated by the idea of clearing your face while talking on the phone. As to how well it works, the Doc says, "This would have to go through a lot more clinical study before I could quantify its efficacy." Another dermatologist suggested that it would take 88 treatments for the app to work, according to her studies. She also fears the amount of harmful ultraviolet rays that would be emitted using the app. Reviewers have been mixed with one calling the app "dumb" while another claims," After three days of using this product my acne is almost completely gone." So the next time you see someone with acne talking on his iPhone, just leave him alone as he might be getting treatment.

this is a joke, right? This cannot be serious. You know, my friends and I kind of crack jokes about how PhoneArena is constantly up the iPhone's ass. Constantly. But, at times, we're just joking and having fun. But this, my word, this takes the CAKE! Do you realize that you are paying someone to write an article about an ACNE application for the iPhone. Seriously. You guys are SO lop-sided on the iPhone, it's ridiculous. I'm about one iPhone article away from deleting PhoneArena from my daily website visits.

Well considering the properties of said lights have been proven to do the job, if the iPhone actually recreates the lights correctly(I'm sceptical as hell) then this article isn't some supid iPhone fanboyism, it would fit in on any credible site or magazine. That's one hell of a dermatological breakthrough. But studies need to be done. I don't know about this

Yea it's actually true haha. Not a joke. I've heard about this before. It's much more popular in Europe, but I have friends who get these colored light bulbs and use them everyday to clear their acne. It's supposed to work and as from the look of it, my friends don't have acne haha. But who knows...

Im sorry but hoe can you say the site only talks about the iphone, its not their fault that the creator of the app created it for the iphone first, its an interesting app, that i am sure many people would try out everyone has acne, I dont have an i phone and dont ever plan to get one. This is an interesting article and if the app works, I would say its probably one of the greatest apps out there in all app worlds. Phone arena is not kissing ipone ass for this article, just a really great app that was created for the iphone first

At least they found something to help the guy that lives in his mom's basement dedicating his life to World of Warcraft played on his Apple. This Apple fanboyism is getting really wierd. Even in the peak of Verizon fanboys wasn't this bad. I've even recently decided to drop the idea of buying another Apple product, mainly because I cringe at the sight of an Apple logo. It doesn't even seem to be about the product or performance anymore, people are like: Oh but its from Apple! Its like the stupid iPad. If Microsoft or Dell made something like that nobody would be talking about it. But oh, its from Apple. Hail Apple! ...Give me a break!

Oh we'll see alright...wait till some kid gets a hold of a iPhone/iPod Touch and tries to stare into it for too long. If it can kill acne, there's gotta be fine print somewhere. There could be lawsuits with this. And maybe it's harmless. Who knows, maybe I could stick my iPod to the bathroom wall and use waterless hand sanitization haha!

There is a much more sophisticated iFace Acne Cure iPhone App that also works on all Phones, not just on the iPhone and on all LCD screens. You can get it at iFace.us/Acne

It's the one that was on Fox News and it has a lot more frequency settings, way more sophisticated.

The iFace Acne Cure is the version that WORKS ON ALL MOBILE PHONES, not just on the iPhone.
It's at iFace.us/Acne

That version is truly amazing, because it has the pro version which allows multiple levels of frequency treatments for Acne. And the best part is, that you can use it on all LCDs, not just on the iPHone, but even on my PC. Yep. You can also get it from http://new.iFace.us
