GPS
There is one simple reason why there is no GPS. Any guesses?
you hackers know why don't you? It is the same thing they have run into with other previous offerings. If they put GPS in it, it only takes a simple registry hack to unlock it for free. If you have a data plan therei s no way for them to know if they are getting cheated. So to all those out there wining about it, get over it. No freebe for you this time.

Call Quality
After suffering through 2 years of horrible reception with my Treo 700w, the only question I have is, "How is the call quality?"

try not to be a mouth breather...
I said that was a fine example, a fine example of why you would want to lock down GPS on a windows smartphone since you can't regulate it. sprint shells out millions of dollars every year paying for GPS they don't get a penny of.

following the bread crumbs yet?

hmmm
why do people always make it seem as though Verizon is the manufacturer of these devices...if you think teh device is lacking or that its "cheap" then take that up with HTC

Why?
Why are you guys defending corporations as if its something worth getting angry about? I am pretty sure there is better things in life to get angry about don't you? Also why get angry about this phone and any phone that is getting released by Verizon and just wait until the go open network then wait for that beloved phone you think is perfect for you....until then calm down people jeez your arguing about pieces of plastic and metal....

Data Plans!!!!!!!!!!!
it doesn't really matter who's better and whose not what does matter is price and vzw is crazy to think that 15.36 a mb for a month is ok. At sprint i pay 15.00 a month for true unlimted ( no caps) but i guess when your in it to make money thats what you do uh?

XV6900
The reason the HTC Touch is listed as the Verizon Wireless XV6900 is because VZW's distributor for CDMA devices is UTSTARCOM, which is sub-licensed by HTC. So its not VZW who "cheaps out" or whatever you guys are B*tching about it is the SAME DEVICE as SPRINT, minus the Multimedia stuff....
