Hands-on with the Sanyo Katana LX

The Katana LX is an entry-level handset featuring GPS, a VGA camera and 1x data. It replaces the Katana II in Sprint's lineup and is currently available in retail stores for $49.99 on contract. The LX comes in three shiny finishes; Liquid Graphite (pictured,) Pacific Blue and Elegant Pink. While the LX is a bit thicker than the Katana II and ditches the QVGA display for a 128x160 main display, it adds features such as tagless voice dialing and a hidden external OLED display.

Night in Shining Armor???
Great new look for Sanyo. I really like the finish on the outside with the hidden LCD. Actually competes with the flashy phones. The only thing that somewhat sucks is the finger prints but that's what you get when you want a flashy phone. Stay away from Mickey D's french fries I guess.
