Motorola, the creator of iDEN, has now joined in on the slow death of its technology. The Renegade is the company's first QChat offering, bringing the ruggedness of the i580 with the high-end features of the VE20. This PTT device does Nextel Direct Connect over the Sprint EVDO Rev. A network, and meets Mil Spec 810F specifications for dust, shock, vibration and even blowing rain. On the multimedia side it offers a 2 megapixel camera, touch-sensitive external media controls, microSDHC expansion and Sprint TV, Radio and Music Store. With a design "inspired" by the RAZR, the Renegade offers a svelte profile while maintaining a rugged exterior. Stay tunes for our full Renegade review soon!
