Hands on with the Motorola Renegade

Motorola, the creator of iDEN, has now joined in on the slow death of its technology. The Renegade is the company's first QChat offering, bringing the ruggedness of the i580 with the high-end features of the VE20. This PTT device does Nextel Direct Connect over the Sprint EVDO Rev. A network, and meets Mil Spec 810F specifications for dust, shock, vibration and even blowing rain. On the multimedia side it offers a 2 megapixel camera, touch-sensitive external media controls, microSDHC expansion and Sprint TV, Radio and Music Store. battery life sucks, and phone has a hard time connecting with sprints data network.
doesnt work as well as the pro 700.

nothing really compares to sanyo phones when you get down to it. they do what they should that is make great phones lol

Battery life isn't the greatest, but this phone works a heck of a lot better with DC/Data than the Pro-700.

The v950 is a better phone than the PRO700 hands-down. The 700 has a few software issues that the v950 hasn't experienced. The battery life of both is less than expected, but the v950 OS and features are outstanding.
