Hands on with the Motorola CLIQ

Motorola hopes to save the company with Android, and it's first foray into big G's world is the CLIQ, aka DEXT in Europe.  While not as broad as HTC's Sense UI, Moto has their own approach to Android called MOTOBLUR.  This schizophrenic interface bombards the user with updates from various social networking outlets such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as updates from your messaging services.  The CLIQ is certainly not as high-end as the DROID, in fact we'd call it a mid-range device despite some advanced features such as a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera and 3.1" capacitive HVGA display.  This display slides to the right to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, which we enjoy for the most part, though the convex bottom row is troublesome.  With a fresh take on the interface and some nice features like WiFi and 3G, the CLIQ appears to be a solid Android entry for Motorola.

Stay tuned for our full review soon!

Really? I've been looking online and I see a couple mixed opinions. From being the best keyboard on a phone to not good at all. But for the most part I hear good things about the keyboard. I guess i'll have to see for myself

Geeze phonearena!... you guys get things a lot later than other sites but something about this site keeps me tuned. Its strange because I'm stuck between getting the cliq or the moment and you seem to have both. Lets see a comparison/personal outlook of which phone you prefer! That would help a lot!

The Moment I think is way better. It has and awesome processor and is just an amazing device. One other huge upgrade is the fact that you get much better and broader 3G internet with Sprint than with T-Mobile.
