The fans of the Sony Ericsson Walkman series will be delighted by the new addition to the series – the W890. As a successor of W880, the new device comes to impress us with its design and enhanced functions. With W890s’ elegant design, dimensions 4.1 x 1.8 x 0.4 inches (104 x 46.5 x 9.9 mm) and weight 2.8 oz (78 g), the device does not fall behind its predecessor. From functional point of view, Sony Ericsson W890 comes with installed Walkman 3.0 musical player, improved camera, now 3.2 megapixels, but sadly, just like W880, lacks auto-focus and flash.
Fans of Sony Ericsson in America will be happy to know that W890 is a quad-band device which allows its use all over the world. Unfortunately, its 3G capabilities can be exploited only in Europe and Asia due to the only supported frequency 2100 MHz.
