Hands-on with HTC Touch Cruise
News iconPublished on: 04 April 2008 by PhoneArena Team
We managed to get our hands on the HTC Touch Cruise: it is the first GSM phone from the Touch series with a built-in GPS. This model is the successor to the P3300 Artemis and its design is reminding us of that, but it adds the flat screen and the TouchFlo personalization, which the series are characterized by. It is logical for a model named Cruise to be equipped with a navigation application, in this case, one of the leaders on the market, TomTom. Unfortunately, there are no preloaded maps, but you are given one free, which you can download. Since the new entry is a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) with a tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100 MHz) support, it can be used anywhere you go.
