Got it by FedEX yesterday and been playing with it ever since. Takes a little while to get used to the touchscreen, but it is an awesome phone for Verizon.
AMAZING phone so far.
but a couple CONs i thought should be mentioned.
-The headphone jack is covered by this small detachable plug/cover. So if you got ur headphones plugged in make sure you dont lose the cover.
-Camera is slow. Takes about a full 2 seconds to focus on the half click and a minor delay on full click.
yea the vznavegator has the weather app built in, no shortcout doo. but if u have the nav you check trafic, weather, movies, cheapest gas station*(super help full specially in Ca) and movies
For everyone that has the dare is the screen squishy and pressure sensed plastic like the voyager, or like the glyde heat sensed and hard but still plastic or like the iphone heat sensed and glass?????????
the reason why you have to change to nationwide is cause all other plans takes from your min when on the internet, so if you didn't have a data plan you'd get major overages on min, with nationwide data and min and bill seprately
Has anybody used the calendar for the Dare yet. I have a Q, hate it, but do like to be able to use the calendar. Is there a calander app that you will be able to load if the Dare "stock" calander isn't that good.

The calendar function on the Dare is...functional. Its easy to use, but also pretty basic in terms of features. I'm coming from windows mobile though and this is my first verizon phone, so i don't know how it relates to previous phones. We'll have to wait and see about future apps available for the phone.
