Yesterday, at the HTC Special Event in London, HTC announced its new Touch series phone, the Touch Diamond. There, the company revealed information that the device would be available through Orange mobile and other carriers without specifying which ones. O2 Germany and T-Mobile Europe have shed some light on the mystery, by announcing today that they will be one of the providers to carry it. The device will be branded as O2 Xda Diamond and MDA Compact IV.
The phone should be available for purchase through O2 by the end of next month, priced at €550 without a contract. With a 2-year contract, the price drops to mere €99. Unfortunately, currently there isn’t any information about T-Mobile date and prices.
