Why the low rating?

1 Feb 2008 by Chocolateman85006

9.4 out of 10

Other than the low battery, this phone is the best that I've used. I love the sound, clarity, signal, and downloads that i can do with it. Not to mention, the full availability of Bluetooth (OBEX. A2DP, etc...). This phone deserves a much higher rating.

Great on paper - poor in the skin

7 Jan 2008 by mike kelliher

5.2 out of 10

A seriously dissapointing phone. Slow is not the word. Also has a poor BT stack which doesnt work with MS Voice Command which renders it useless for handsfree as you cant initiate Voive Command by pressing the headset button. Poor batterylife. Poor application suite bundled.

You'll need to spend at least another $200 on software to make it usable. Finally - HP just dont care about the 6900 series flaws...they're attitude to support calls on ther forum seems to be "tough luck sucker!".

Stay away.
