Google takes Search by Voice and My Location to the BlackBerry

advertisment:
It is more than easy to find everything on the internet these days. In the common case, you just go to Google’s, write what you wish to know and click on search. Naturally, mobile users also demanded such functionality. Google continues to update its popular mobile application with new features and this time, the package goes to BlackBerry users. These updates aren’t completely new, however, the first one is Search by Voice, which we have already seen for the iPhone, and the second one is My Location, currently available for the G1. As its name suggests, Search by Voice will allow you to find what you wish by saying key words. What My Location does is to show your location on the map, even if your phone doesn’t have a built-in GPS unit. Unfortunately, this update is still unavailable for the first touchscreen BlackBerry, the Storm.
