Google released a search applications for Symbian S60 phones. It is available for download on the mobile version of the site, which is the largest search engine in the world, but will also be preloaded with some phones in future. For example, Nokia announced that its four new models (N96, N78, 6220 classic and 6210 Navigator) in selected markets will feature the application.

The Google bar appears on the home screen of S60 phones as notification, requiring the ‘pencil’ key to be pressed. After that it offers text box for entering the text, which leads to the standard phone browser opening the Google webpage.
