I have been a Verizon wireless customer for over 10 years now and being one of the most expensive services, I have to say that the service is always good. That said, the phones they have are always the worst compared to all of the other carriers phones - Not to mention that the US in general is about 2 years behind the rest of the world because of carriers fighting with each other instead of teaming up to make a better infrastructure. I have an itouch and have been seriously considering moving to AT&T to get the iphone. I love the itouch and its basically the iphone w/o the phone and camera. I am looking forward to checking this phone out to see if it is worth staying with Verizon. I wish Verizon would get the iphone...

I also want to know if this phone will sync with outlook - contacts/calendar, etc. I have my itouch synced to 4 of my email accounts and I love being able to wake up and just turn it on to see what email I have...Can this phone do that?

I have been with Verizon since Jan 07 and have not had any problems with technical support. Everytime I contacted customer service at verizon wireless about my LG Env 1 phone they have been absolute professionals. Technical support is way better than sprint or cingular. Verizon has the best support of all the phone companies and I have been with all of them. As far as the Dare is much better than the Apple phones. So many people buy into the hype and advertising. I can probably guess you use Norton or Symantec for your antivirus program and you still get viruses.
I dropped by LG Env phone in the pool by accident it was ruined. I went to the verizon store to find out I was two months short of my free upgrade...they gave me the LG Dare at the same price as a new customer that purchased a new phone with a 2 year renewal contract. I couldn't be happier. After 5 days of using the Dare all I have to say is WOW.. absolutely marvelous piece of touch screen technology. I dare you to move to another carrier...you switch back faster than you can spit.
