The FCC in its infinite wisdom, has seen fit to put the check mark in the approval box for the Samsung SPH-M810. FCC approvals happen frequently, so what makes this one so interesting is that this device could be the Instinct Mini. The full sized version has become a huge seller for Sprint and for Best Buy, so why not make a Mini-Me version? As we reported earlier, one difference between the two models that we are hearing about is that the Instinct Mini will run on the slower EV-DO Rev. 0 network. The Instinct Mini appears to be equipped with PTT capabilities, unlike its Big Brother. The expected launch date of April 19th through Sprint has not changed since our initial story.

Doesn't QChat REQUIRE EVDO Rev A to function? If so, then either this phone doesnt have PTT, or it WILL be REV A.

of coarse its evdo but nothing like the smartphones, smartphones are rev a the instinct mini is not, and the reason parents will save money is because the mini doesnt require an everything plan. so yes it will be much cheaper
