FCC approved 3G Samsung for T-Mobile

FCC re-approved the Samsung SGH-T639 (a quad-band GSM phone) showing that it will support UMTS 1700 MHz, which is the 3G band of T-Mobile USA. This means, the T639 will probably be the first 3G phone for the carrier, when it launches.
The T639 is the GSM flavor of the CDMA Samsung SCH-R500 for Alltel.
