FCC also approves Palm Treo 680

The FCC just approved another phone manufactured by Palm the Treo 680, as we can see from one of the documents, the commission has posted on its page. Just like the 750 yesterday, the advanced documents (manual and external images) are still not available, but image of the label below the battery shows the model number.
The 680 is the smaller brother of the 750, running on Palm's own Operating System instead of on a Windows for Pocket PCS. It's still antenna-less phone with QWERTY keyboard, but it lacks the 3G frequencies (UMTS and HSDPA) the 750 had, and relies only on EDGE. We expect it soon on Cingular, together with the 750, and will be available in versions with and without camera, both getting $100 Mail-in rebates.
