Cingular and LG launch CU500 HSDPA phone

The LG CU500 is now available on Cingular and it is the first US-bound phone with HSDPA support. It is a small clamshell 3G phone with quad-band GSM and dual-band (850/1900) UMTS/HSDPA support. The CU500 features Cingular Video capabilities, a 65k color 176x220 display, a swiveling 1.3 megapixel camera, video and music player as well as stereo Bluetooth support.
The CU500 is currently available on the Cingular web site at $129.99 with two-year contract.
