Far from being the last in the game to get it, BlackBerry users are finally getting their taste of Skyfire. One member from CrackBerry.com was able to get an alpha release of the highly anticipated Skyfire browser for BlackBerry. We'd imagine that this has been a long time coming with the Windows Mobile and certain S60 powered platforms getting the head start. The one lucky user who managed to play around with it says that there were no issues loading up sites over Wi-Fi connectivity; with EDGE connections being tolerable. Complex web sites load up perfectly like what you see on desktop counterparts. Although it's still in alpha form, viewing videos on Hulu or YouTube played fine with the option to separate it from the rest of the browser. Undoubtedly Skyfire may cause a rift down the road for starved BlackBerry owners who have been waiting for a true web browsing experience.
