would you all take a long drink of stfu about wifi, THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE BITCHING IS BECAUSE YOU WANT TO HAVE EVERYTHING, dont sugarcoat it and tell me its "cause its faster" because while it is noticably faster (at least going from rev 0 devices like the samsung i760 or the 6800) that speed IS NOT going to allow you to do anything else on your phone that you couldnt without wifi

are you really not going to buy the storm just because it doesnt have wifi? really? before you reply to me, sit and think about it for a second, take a real deep breath, then slap yourself for being stupid and move on with your life. wifi, while a nice feature to have, would have been redundant and stupid to add, because a, YOU HAVE TO GET A DATA PLAN, you are always connected reguardless of being in wifi range, and b. it would have bumped the cost of the phone up, maybe not a whole lot, but you are all bitching about the price being too high and not buying it and not having wifi and not buying it, what else would you like, maybe some pie? some cake? a happy ending? its a phone, its going to be badass (wifi or not) get over it

:-)

Nice post,

Just want to throw in that you don't HAVE to buy a data plan, or if the store MAKES you, you can cancel just the data plan the same day.

I've seen the same thing a buncha times while reading through.
on VERIZON WIRELESS which this ARTICLE IS ABOUT, a blackberry is REQUIRED to have a DATA PLAN.

No one gives a s*** about your AT&T and POS iphone.

Walmart is going to sell the Google G1 phone for only $149. starting Weds 10/29/8....$30 less than the TMo store....If Verizon doesn't get close to this price with the Storm it will probably be a a blowout winner for TMo and the Google G1.

The OMNIA will be better than the STORM. Are you kidding me! Hard and soft resets on a daily basis, no thanks! been there done that with the Treo 700wx and 6800. Once you go BLACK...berry you never go back! Watching the video reviews of the OMNIA were painfull. The guy couldnt exit screeens without pushing the touch screen 5 times before it would respond. Lets see, the i760 was a bust and the GLYDE was the biggest piece of crap. Hmm, lets combine the 2 and see what we get. Nice try samsung! I will be sticking with Blackberry.

---Word now is that Storm will sell for $0-$99 w 2 yr committ to compete with IPhone price that is supposed to drop to $49..This is the time for BB to do a dramatic promo to steal biz away from IPhone while they still can.....Data plan and u'ltd internet plan with good talk minute allowance is also to be in works to take biz away from TMo and the Google G1 phone.
