BlackBerry Bold coming to AT&T in October?

Although the exact date is still unknown (and oddly enough, marked on the internal press release as "XX"), AT&T is expected to announce that the BlackBerry Bold will be arriving in October. As a recap, the phone will offer tri-band HSDPA, quad-band EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1GB of onboard memory, a 2-megapixel camera, and of course, OS 4.6. According to the release, it can be had for "as low as $299.99." Check out the press release for more information.

i agree sounds like a repeat of the K850 SE first here then there now gone. We'll see what happens with this one

It seems like RIM is releasing a lot of their new products in October. Wasn't it rumor that the Storm was also going to be announced in Oct? Never the less im glad to see RIM keeping their good name.

Yeah im gonna assume they wanted to have their new blackberry out there when the Storm arrives. Hopefully Verizon gets the bold some time because it looks like a sweet phone. I mean if you have Verizon pushing the Storm and ATT pushing the Bold then well.. Blackberry wins either way.

Verizon is hoping to release the RIM Niagra (like the Bold), but not until 2009.

bells n whistles? This has new software and twice the screen resolution. Oh, and it happens to have 3g.

jcrow r u a retard or do u just come on to these forums just to read what u type....its a completely diff phone...ive already played w the phone and its amazing...its not even close to the curve...its 3G has a vga screen html email and web browser 1 gig of internal memory and a 8800 keyboard....so tell me again how that even CLOSELY resembles the curve??? get ur facts before u come on here and make urself look like an idiot
