Big changes coming to Verizon January 18th?

A tipster for BGR has brought them information showing that the nation's largest carrier is about to make some changes starting January 18th. New pricing for unlimited minutes includes a $69.99 per month individual option rising to $89.99 monthly with unlimited texts. Family plans will run $119.99 a month for the first two lines with additional users costing $49.99 monthly for unlimited talk, text and data.
The Basic plan will now be titled Nationwide Talk with the Nationwide Talk and Text replacing the Select plan. Featurephone Data plans will run $9.99/month for 25MB of data and mobile email. A monthly price of $29.99 will get you unlimited data and mobile email. Overage fees on the $9.99 plans have been sliced in half from 50 cents to 25 cents per MB. And all 3G Multimedia phones-a category that now includes the LG Chocolate Touch, enV3, enV Touch and others-will require a monthly Data plan of $9.99 or higher. Verizon also made some changes to its pre-paid offerings as Big Red is now making available an unlimited pre-paid plan called Talk and Text which will cost $94.99 per month.
