almost forgot...I live in SoCal..VZW DOES NOT have ANY 3g service where the frikkin ocean is!...malibu beach specifically!...tmobile does though with good call quality ;-)

My Sprint Samsung Rant phone gets a little of everything everywhere ;-)

I called my local VZ store today and they informed me that I was unable to use my new every two discount on the storm. Can anyone confirm this??? I was planning on getting one tomorrow but after the reviews and news of no discount I may not.

Thats rediculous. they may be hording their in store stock for new activations. try a different location. seriously just call a store out of state or something if you have to. they'll "dfill" you one to your house within days

verizon is being really cool and holding them... not the stores but the company... all the store got a very limited amount but are being promised to have a speedy refil... its the only thing that drives me nuts about verizon.... they want you to buy online because there is no overhead.... most store will have a second shipment(which will be considerably larger) by early next week at the latest

I was anxiously awaiting the Storm, but then I made a big mistake. I decide to try out the iPhone (which I had been intentionally shunning for reasons of my own).

Now I would not give up the iPhone for anything.

I do like the e-mail push better on Blackberry and the voice dialing/bluetooth capabilities but the iPhone is just a marvel.

Yes!!! Already pre ordered. One con, it's extra money per month for all of its features (internet, email, msn etc) but its well worth it! Ive had a blackberry [cant recall the name] since december 2005, and it was good for a year or so. now im deciding to take on blackberry's best and newest phones. its touchscreen, and you actually click it, as if there was such thing as a touchscreen keyboard. this phone is amazingly insane in features and style. im buying it 100% and cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried to get a Storm today following all the delays. Got to the verizion store this morning and they were sold out all ready. The Nashville store only received 20, but they would be glad to take my order. BS, I'm tired of messing with verizon. Im finally going to get the iphone on my way home.
