Apple iPhone 3G now for under $100

There have been rumors about an iPhone 3G cracking the $100 price point. Some mused that Wal-Mart would offer the phone for less than a C note. Nope. The $99 price comes directly from AT&T on their web site. There is one catch. The unit is refurbished. And the offer requires a 2-year contract. And it is the 8 GB model that you receive for this price. AT&T previously offered refurbished iPhones with a $50 discount but now there are additional $50 off until the end of the year.

The lowest price for a new iPhone is currently $190 for an 8 GB model offered by Best Buy for a limited time.

Nice way to edit all these posts because iphonearena sucks... they deleted every single post on here because they were all about phonearena posting too much useless crap about the iphone and apple. Wow, they sure do listen to their readers. And to make it up, the very next day they post a sales price on the Verizon Dare (to try and make up for their useless posts about apple and the iphone) and it is a sales price from wirefly (which always has killer prices on phones anyway). What a crappy website! Thanks iphonearena for covering up your retardation by deleting all our posts on this article's forum.

If it is such a "crappy website" then why do you even type "phonearena.com" into your web browser? If you don't like what they post then do come to the site. It is very very simple my four year old son could comprehend it but apparently you can't. If you want suger coated VZW news them go to a VZW forum. If there is a show on TV I don't like....I change the channel....if i don't like a certain website...I don't go to that site. Instead all we get to read is how you hate this site but continue to to vist and post your worthless comments.

Here's the thing, and I'm not going to bring your 4 year old son into it... This site has a lot to offer. It is just amazing to me, and to a lot of other people out there that the authors of the articles posted on this site lean so far towards apple and its iPhone. I work for AT&T and I am even appalled by this. I like to see what this site has to offer in the way of news, and I also like to read about phones and so forth, but this is just ridiculous. As CNN leans super towards the left, and Fox News leans towards the right, phonearena leans towards the iphone and apple. If you can't see or comprehend that, then you are blind and completely ignorant.

The problem is with this site, if we, the readers post something pointing it out, the authors of this site cover it up and remove what we have to say. They DON'T listen to the people who view and keep their website going. And yes, they are very Crappy for doing so!!

If you look at who is posting the comments like yours they are all Storm users with exception to you. I do find it hard to believe that you work for At&t but you did not know Cingular bought the original At&t and not the other way around for the At&t name only (and any subscribers they had left), but maybe you started working for them recently. Anyways...if you look at the recent stories posted over the last month or so there are as many if not more Storm and Android articles as there are iphone. One day last week they had at least 6 Androind articals but there are no comments about them loving Google/Androind/G1/T-mo. In the last 4 days they have had three articles regarding leaked Storm updates (which no one loads anyways) but there are not any comments like you see on iphone or at&t articals. I know a lot of people hate Apple (me being one of them) but it is hard to argue that it has not been one of the most influential phones ever so there is going to news about whether people like it or not. Also most if not all the articals in question are from other sources and phonearena is just posting a part of the story and then the link to the source artical which is not theirs. The comments on those articals are nothing like they are here. I have not been one here since Christamas Eve so I do not know what all was posted and deleted but if you really want them to stop posting iphone news then do not comment one the articals. The fact that we are sitting here posting comments gives them more reason to continue. Also I do appaligize for being an a$$ in my first comment but I have read some of your other post and did not expect it out of you especially with your user name. This argument is very fanboyish. Again I am not an at&t subscriber or apologist, i come on here because of the company I work for which deals with any and all cell providers and manufactures around the world. I've said it once (or three times) and i'll say it again...if this site loves the iphone so much how and why did they pick the Samsung Instinct as a better phone? Once someone can explain that to me then I will believe the hype...

Aight, I'll buy that. However, I do believe I posted that Cingular bought AT&T...but I'm not going to take the time to find it. oh well. Anyway, I can see what you are saying, and quite frankly, when you put it that way I have nothing to say to rebutle or refute it (other than this site has an abnormal amount of iphone articles) I also did mention once or twice in the past on a couple android articles about how phonearena was starting to post a ton of android articles.

What can I say, Sometimes I am an antagonist. Apologies :)

Yeah...after I typed that I pulled up the one about Android Turn-By-Turn and you did drop the "phoneandroid" on the first post but that was the only one I saw and I thought it was more of a joke than anything. Android is what interests me the most and I would bet it will be the next thing people get tired of hearing about. I think it is similair to Apple and you either love it or hate it.
