Every single time I use this phone I experience a problem. Sometimes when I'm texting it jumps back halfway up the message and keeps not allowing me to go back ot the end, the touchscreen is the worst I've seen, what is the policy of getting a replacement?
My phone is my phone and my internet, I can't keep having to deal with this. I would greatly discourage anyone considering getting the phone.

Thanks for the post, this was immensly helpful for me. It was a huge improvement, almost every time I touch something its working correctly. I'd also like to mention to anyone else whos trying it that I put 3 layers of electrical tape underneath the battery, not on top. I hope it doesnt have heat issues from doing it that way, but screw it, its finally working! Awesome!

every problem that any gylde had, i had rolled up into my phone. Horrible touchscreen, texts showing up hours late, and pretty much anything you could think up. but i'm a simple text guy and i loved the layout. so i went back today dec 2nd 08 and they loaded up the new software and it failed. they offered me an lg venus phone and i wasn't having it. they offered up another gylde so i thought i'd give it one last try before i took my business elsewere. so for now it seems to work as it should and it has a few new features. hopefully this phone will last, if not i'm off to t-mobile and the g-1.

yea well i just have had the phone since august and im on my third. My little brother got one too and we both have had the same problems. Its great getting a phone that has so many problems you have to return it on a weekly basis. But when i asked "can i get a different phone" i was denied. They told me because i switched numbers i wasnt elligable for the change. and even that i have to bring a different phone in 3 times before they will replace it.. SOO im stuck with the phone for 2 years... no questions asked.. i am disparately searching for a way to a different phone.. im afraid that i might get in a wreck and not be able to call home or something... mind you there arent alot of people to flag down.. or that you would want near you around here.. ugh i have had the worst time.. i just want a phone that has keys.. and i will be just the happiest girl in the world.
