A new carrier with an exquisite offer for customers

advertisment:
Here's what is going on – a newly appeared carrier, named Zer01 Mobile, has come up with an exquisite offer for an unlimited voice and data plan for smartphones at a monthly charge of $65.95. What the carrier promises is month-to-month charging with no contract agreements or credit checks. The network coverage of Zer01 Mobile is as broad as the one of AT&T, which is because it is actually using a form of a roaming agreement with AT&T. All calls on Zer01 Mobile will be processed by a proprietary VoIP application, which is said to work with the phone’s microphone and earpiece. On top of that, the carrier claims that phones using the significantly slow EDGE and even GPRS networks will also be able to conduct calls with ease, which is something that we would like seeing with our own eyes first. In addition to unlimited VoIP calling and data, the company also offers unlimited international calling to 40 countries for $10 more a month. The only bad news is that currently Zer01’s VoIP application runs only on Windows Mobile 6, but it is said to be developed also for Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Java, and jailbroken iPhones. What do you think, sounds intriguing enough to be tested?!

There is another Provider (MetroPCS) that is also unlimited voice and I believe data for $50.

I heard rumors that you can use your CDMA phones rather than buying theirs.

i just dont know how their service compares to Verizon

I have had ppl come in with VZW phones but they were switched to MetroPCS. They're roaming agreements are with Sprint I believe. However, they're coverage sux. No comparison to VZW whatsoever.

all prepaid sucks doesnt matter if its voice or data or how cheap it is its never gonna be worth the loss of coverage or speeds that the top three offer, prepaid is for people that are cheap and dont use a cellphone for real life or buisness just to babble to there other unemployed friends.

Insider80, first, you should pull ur head out of ur rectum then try being more mindful of your own current expenditures related to data usage mainly and other added costs that the big three are nickel& diming us to death with. I got my first cellphone from Bellsouth Mobility and stayed loyal to them over the several company name changes that occurred spanning nearly two decades. As soon as Cingular/AT&T made it possible to surf the web my nightmares began. They enticed me with the good old, "Surf all you want since your first three months of data usage are free" offer and then WHAM, into my fourth month they started applying all these exorbitant data usage charges and when I got my bill at the end of the fifth month, it was triple the amount of my regular bill so I freaked, called their CS and realized the ridiculous rates related to data usage. Luckily, the LG CU500 I had at the time was mysteriously stolen ( a blessing in disguise) and so I waited out the remaining months left in my contract eventually firing AT&T and taking my cell number which I've had for over 16 years now to Tracfone and life is better. Insider, you do have a very valid point that those of us who require constant contact and the utilization of various tech tools wouldn't exactly fit the typical, pre-paid customer profile. You should apologize and rescind your comment posted above like a normal human would do.

Your observations of prepaid and those who utilize this format are very weak and biased. It's probably only reflective of your own, bottled-up frustration over the inconsistencies with the big threes' billing practices. That's the problem with this nation is that we're all so self-consumed and just a number to those who claim to value your dollar. It's time we started getting back to the core principals of society and help each other unconditionally. I've made it an everyday practice to produce one, random act of KINDNESS for a complete stranger without any selfish undertones or figuring out how I'm gonna benefit from the person I'm about to assist. Try that Insider80 and you just might feel better about yourself and others will find that contagious.

I luv my tracfone, and everyone that I contact through it which, by the way, all are employed and ur just a selfish little follower of materialistic BS. I bet with the money I've saved using prepaid, I could take ur sister out for a very nice dinner on a regular basis. Now go tippity tap ur little blackberry and look like every other schmoe wearing thick rimmed glasses and Kenneth Cole get-up.

Long live pre-paid cellular and God Bless the USA and the brave men & women who serve to protect her.

JYD
