HTC raphael heading for T-Mobile

The new Windows Mobile Professional device from HTC, is described as a mixture between the HTC Touch Diamond and the TyTN. The phone will be released with the name MDA Vario IV. Date and price still remain unknown.

Good, but as far as i know MDA branded phones are for Europe Only. So US citizens should not get their hopes too high, but who knows it might pop in the US.

This is definitely something i look forward to . BTW i never knew the Americans weren't getting the MDA's. Bad luck guys, us Europeans have been enjoying them for quite some time now, at least you have the HTC branded ones.
The most interesting thing for me is the expected price, but yet again no one knows it

This is one interesting device . I doubt that T-Mobile won't make it available to Americans also. If not there will be riots on the streets, plundering and mass killing , i guess you noticed i was kidding right.

I doubt that a device of this caliber will miss america altogether . It may not appear as an MDA branded phone, but without a doubt it will be available in the U.S.

Will this be the new version of the TyTN series, or it died with the Kaiser. From what i hear Touch Pro will be sporting the same features as the diamond, the only difference will be the addition of hardware qwerty. So we could expect a price tag of at least $70-100 more than the diamond. Which is priced at $650 at the moment.

Bingo, saved me the time. It's already out in Europe, and it has T-Mobile badges galore... Not expected to hit T-Mo USA any time soon, more likely to AT&T but anything can happen... I have an AT&T ROM for it, so it's sure not ONLY going to T-Mobile. ;-)

Has more ROM and RAM than the Diamond, an accelerometer calibration feature, and an SDHC card slot rather than 4GB fixed memory.
