change voice memo to rintone on LG8100

How do you set a voice recording as a rintone on the LG8100

I really want to know how to do that too, cause all of my friends can on their phones (different kinds) but I cant figure out how to do it on mine! AHHH....

You CAN do it!!! you need to get BitPim

you will need a usb cable.

you have to set the view preference to see the file system in bitpim.

after you record a sound,your phone will create a *.qcp file.
just dig around the file system a bit under the "Brew" folder,you'll find them.

(you'll also see all your ringtones,pics and vid files(vid.3gp)

when you find the sound file you made,right click and save it. take the file you saved and rename it to an mp3.

after that you can "Drag" the file back into bitpim (where you foung those ringtone files) :-)
