LG PM 225 Data Cable.

Does anyone know where I could find a data cable for the LG PM 225. I've been searching all day and have come up empty handed. If anyone could give me information on where I could buy a data cable(The data cable used to download ringtones, not connect to the internet)I'd be very appreciative. Thanks.

i got my phone few days ago
it is great, but i try to know how to get my picture from the cell phone
i try to find the data cable to do it
but i can't find any
and which software we should use ?
can bitpin do it?
if anyone know, please reply

If you go to futuredial.com, the site has software that is compatible with the phone and a cable - #50. You can purchase the software at CompUSA but the cable has to be purchased seperately. The software allows you to edit your phone book, calender and edit photos to download to the phone. No ringtone abilities yet. The site offers free upgrades to software.

Datapilot.com has a cable, LG #3, that works but no supporting software yet. The cable can be purchased at Best Buy but you have to buy the universal package which costs $80.

Datapilot just issued an upgrade that incorporated the PM225.

Amazon.com has some fairly decent deals on the Datapilot software and cable kit. Also Discountcell.com

You can manage your phone book, save your pictured over onto your PC but that's about it. No ringtone capability as of yet. And no transfer of pictured from PC to phone.

Well I got the cable off of Ebay for about 12 dollars and that works just fine. So that was a great deal. The software is what is hard to find that works with this phone. I have tried DataPilot, Bitpim, some third rate stuff, and even the PC Sync software that LG uses that only supports about 7 of its own phones. Are there other software packages out that that may support this phone?

I have the data cable for the LG PM225. But I cannot find any software for it.... anyone had any luck.. BitPim doesn't work..

I got my data cable from Ebay...username I bought from is: mobilesandpdas

the cable & s&h was $11.98. I ordered on Friday and got it on Tuesday... not bad ... he gives you the link to download the USB drivers. Where can I get the software now... not bitpim (pos)

I picked up a cable from mobilepandas too.

BitPim sorta works with the phone, but its not something I recommend unless you really know what you are doing.

DataPilot really only handles retrieving images and updating contacts.

I'll see if I can figure out the rest for BitPim to work... could take some time.

I know they're almost the only game out there, but don't buy DataPilot. Susteen's support system sucks, they don't answer questions, their customer service is for the dogs, and I'm still waiting for an RMA number.

I purchased mine on EBAY, but came with no software.

i cant find anything either i got my cable from ebay too for cheap and it came with some type of software that isnt all that great....anyone figured anything out???
