Can US cellular limit text ?

I want to call them but each time I do I get the runaround. Like when I asked them over and over to turn off the easyedge and they kept claiming they couldn't until I finally got ahold of the right person. I kept getting charges each month for services I apparently subscribed to on EE, although I never even touched EE, anyway back to my main question.
I want to limit my sons texting to 250 messages, his plan amount. If they can't do this then I'll just turn it off altogether, but I wouldn't be surprised if they told me they can't do that either.

i don't know if they can limit it but if you want to get to the right person quickly and etc. when you call, and the first person picks up or whatever you have to do to get to an operator, usually hitting 0 takes you directly to an operator. but just ask to talk to a supervisor and deal with it then.

i have never heard of that kind of feature. But i can't see a problem. If they can limit your calls they should be able to limit texts. Just call and ask (easier, faster and correct)

Smile Texting limit

Yes you can change your sons texting limit to 250, 750, or umlimited but as soon as your son
goes of 250 they start charging you for every text message you send.

Exclamation yes and no

Yes you can put a 250 msg pkg on the act but it does NOT stop the phone from sending out msgs once that number has been reached (inc is free on current plans). It is NOT possible to stop the phone from sending more msgs after that 250.

If your easyedge charges are really through easyedge you can delete the applications from your phone and the subscription charges will stop - a rep could help you do this if you're unsure how to do it. And it can also be restricted on many phones. Easyedge can be blocked per line on the account. However some phones have an easyedge application preloaded into the software and even if it is blocked in their system, the phone will still override it and access the application. If it is from a 3rd party it is more difficult to get rid of. You can look at your bill to see the difference. 3rd party subscriptions usually have a weird name and are usually 9.99 a month with a series of numbers by the name (predicto mobile is an example). To get that charge to stop you need to text in the appropriate end message to the number listed on your bill. The 3rd party company usually gives a huge runaround but in the end, if you put in the time, you'll get it shut down.
