Ok need an opinion,.. NOT A REVIEW LINK,.
Planning on getting this phone and wanted to know if anyone has used it, I have read all the reviews and just wanted an honest opinion from someone who has used it
Just wanted to let you know that I recently bought the Samsung a790 just before leaving the States for Helsinki Finland. Phone worked like a jewel while I was in Helsinki. Clarity of voice was incredibly good and received text messages and sent them without problems. I am also crazy about the phone. The screen is colorful and bright, and large for so small a phone. Additionally, the phone feels good in the hand -- great form factor. The only drawback I can see is that it comes without Bluetooth capability. I imagine that when Samsung updates this model, it will have Bluetooth. In the meantime, I'm enjoying my phone in and out of the States and strongly recommend it to anyone who anticipates doing some overseas traveling. Oh, and did I mention that it is also very user friendly (easily switched from CDMA to GSM and back). A lot of what's on this phone in intuitive! Nice work, Samsung! I'll be looking for the next model of this phone!!
