Powersource Service

How good of service do the new ic-series phones get? I've heard both good and bad and was considering purchasing one. Don't want to get a hybrid if it will have worse reception than just straight nextel.

coverage of powersource

The coverage is up and down. The iden800 works better indoors i noticed than the cdma 1900. The cdma is much clearer but seems to lack the penetration value. 800 will always be better for penetration. On the other hand, the data speeds are faster and if you wait for the ic902 which will be coming out in a week or two you will get 3g speeds, bluetooth, e-mail and more. My company has experimented with the new powersource phones and the reviews are up and down. They don't seem much different as far as coverage goes. If anything it might be worse. Better quality but not as much land coveage. And thats sad to say because Nextel's coverage is not that lofty either. If you don't need walkie talkie get a dual mode 850/1900 cdma phone. Hope it helps a bit.
