How long ago did you purchase the phone? If it was within the past year, it should still be under the warranty. If it is older than a year (assuming you have insurance), you could take it into your carrier's local store and trade it in for the same phone. Unless your carrier has also discontinued it, then you will get a equivlant phone.

ringer issues

Ok your ringer doesn't work?? ok well that one message that was posted about the 1 year warranty...let me correct you real quick. If your phone has any manufactuers defects....ringer not working, display goes blank, can't make/recieve calls, dropping calls....and it's less than a year then call 1-800-801-1101...that''s the warranty department. WARRANTY IS FREE. If your phn is less than 30 days old you can take it back to a Cingular Store (receipt and original box) and they can trade it. But if your phn is over a year old and it has any manufactuer defects...then you can PURCHASE the same make a model phn from the warranty deparment at a OOW fee (OOW Out of warranty), but if you have insurance then you can purchase your phn paying a deductible of $50.00.
