Question AT&T Issued T68i on T-Moble network help!!

I live on the east coast of the USA where it is impossible to find a Sony T68i so i had to resort to eBay. Well, it turns out that it is an AT&T phone works great for calls and such, just had to swap out my sim card! But now i want to start using the mobile internet on my phone with T-Mobile T-Zones service. Many of the menus are different and im not sure how to set things up. Im very new to this all and im not even sure what things mean so any help you can provide would be a great start!

the information KidoBorg posted looks good, i just dont know where to put it.

please email me if you have any suggestions! thanks

oxjox,

This is what you have to do:

STEP 1:
1. Go to Connect
2. select DATA COMM. in the Connect menu
3. select DATA ACCOUNT in the DATA COMM. menu
4. do ADD ACCOUNT.
5. For ACCOUNT TYPE select GPRS DATA
6. put any name
7. you should be in the NEW GPRS DATA screen. you will be asked for:
APN: wap.voicestream.com
USER id: wap
PASSWORD: (do not put anything - no pass neces.)

8. select SAVE. The phone will reply - New DATA account created.
9. Exit to the main menu. Go to WAP SERVICES

STEP 2:
10. go to OPTION in WAP SERVICES
11. select WAP PROFILES
12. select ADD PROFILE
13. type any name for the profile
14. You will have to input:
Connect using: (change it to the name of the DATA ACCOUNT
you created in step 1
IP Address: 216.155.165.050

STEP 3:
Go to WAP Services menu
go to SELECT profile, then select the profile you created in STEP 2.

Now if you want to try it, go to ... hm .. wap.esato.com for example.

Try it and let me know if it works.
