i would really like to get a nokia n92 it looks awsome as heck but since the united states uses 850/1900 mhz would it work i live in illinois and someone custoemr care told me there is 1900mhz coverage here central IL to be more accurate. and a friend at work said some tri band phones can have the 850mhz activated in them he did it with some motorola he had and it gets great signal but you have to go deep into the phoens programing to do it.

first: n92 won't come out you can get the n93

T-Mobile uses the 1900 band and 850 is supporting so you may use it. But don't expect great coverage - use tri-band US ! phone (850+1900+1800)
