Don't know if you made your choice or not yet. But had both Tmobile and Sprint Pcs before (verizon now). Sprint from what I noticed had a much larger coverage area and alot less dropped calls. But Sprints customer service, practices and policies is what made me leave more than anything. Besides the fact I live in Castro Valley, up in the Hills here in the Bay Area... and nobody else works up at my house. Cingular, Sprint/nextel, Tmobile. All don't work at my house. Tmobile doesn't even come up the hill, and my cingular/sprint friends start loosing it just before my driveway.... so I would probably pick sprint if it is only going to be between the two that you mentioned.
Just make sure you know what you want, and don't call customer service for anything if you choose sprint. If you don't have talk/deal with them they are a decent service for your buck.
