i530 Sim Card

I purchased a sim card reader and it will read a t-mobile card but cannot get it to read the sim from my nextel i530. Getting a new phone(cingular) and would like to move phonebook.

Probably this is a sim-card reader for GSM phones and is not compatible with your IDEN sim ....
