sending text msgs on Cricket

try using this format -

yournumber@sms.mycricket.com

I've heard a lot of people say that MMS does NOT work with Cricket - it has to be SMS.

Sounds like they don't know what they are doing

Metro PCS and Cricket work similar. It sounds like your phone was 'unlocked', but it wasn't flashed. I sell Verizon phones to Metro PCS & Cricket customers all day long. The problem is that EACH branch is a franchise AND they want you to buy from 'their' store. A full flash cost anywhere from $0-$40. Call around before you go to the store so you can save you time & gas. When you have your CDMA phone unlocked, you only get the features you have described. With a FLASH, you get everything. Hope that helps.
