Family talk upgrade from 700 to 1000 minutes

I have had the 700 FamilyTalk plan since last November and I want to upgrade it to 1000. I was told, however, that in order to do so I have to either lose my nights/weekends or to extend my contract with one year. Is this a kind of a promo or a standard deal?

It is actually a promo as they regard anything with nights/weekends as promo. So you’ll have to decide whether you need the nights\weekends or not or if you mind having your contract extended or not.
