prepaid on VZW?

I’d like to switch to a Verizon prepaid plan, but the problem is that I have Audiovox XV6600 that is quite good for me and I want to keep it. Do you think I can use it on a prepaid or I’ll have to buy a prepaid phone?

You won’t be able to use it on a prepaid. But as you want to keep your phone and won’t need to buy a new one you can start up a 1-yr contract. You won’t be stuck for 2 years and you’ll be able to use txt/pix bundles, offered with the post paid plan.

Not altogether true

You can use your 6600 for prepaid service under the Easy Pay plans. It either $50 or $70 depending on what minute plan you want. But I must ask, why in the world would you use a PDA for prepaid? You will not be able to use all the capibilites of the PDS with any prepaid service.
