Changing numbers questions?

A friend of mind has started getting rather unpleasant calls lately from a person she doesn’t want to talk to and naturally she wants to change her number. Does anyone know if there’s a charge and how much is it?

I think that if the reason for changing a number is harassing call, they won’t charge her anything, but they might extend her contract.

They will NOT extend the contract for a MTN change. They will however charge you $15 dollars unless it is life threatening harassment. In either case your friend should have it done on the bill cycle day to avoid proration that occors becase of the change. Just call customer service they will take care of it. They can 'future date' the order so that the change will take place on the billling cylce day.
