Why don't you contact customer service? If you have purchased your phone in the last 1y, you should have some warranty.

Thumbs down no luckc

thanks pit but verizons warranty was basically useless. they said they needed to send the phone off to make sure that i was not the cause so i had to buy a new phone or wait. so im going to investigate and see if it can be fixed.

Very weird... in such case T-mobile rocks - they send you UPS 2nd day air a replacement, plus pre-paid package to send you broken one. I though verzion has similar service..

Unhappy Ditto

I too had this same error, out of no where, but after taking the battery out and putting it back in a couple times it finally started back up. If you found out what caused your phone to do this, please let me know in case it happens again. When I did a search for this error message on google, it just came up with this posting. By the way, my volume change buttons now do not work..... oh and I got the error again.... this is awesome !!!

I doubt I'll get much assistance, if any, from my carrier.... I use SPRINT and they have the worst customer service by far.
