PTT on T-mo phones

Can you believe it? A friend of mine visit a T-mo store to change from Nextel and the rep there told him that t-mo phones will come with PTT buttons quite soon? I can’t quite believe it. Has anyone heard something like this?

The last thing I heard about it is that T-mo has shelved it for an “indefinite period of time”.
