Verizon HR

I just have a few more questions about Verizon's hiring process ... I've had a total of 3 interviews with Verizon ... the position is CSR at their call center ... the last interview I had was with a woman from HR & that was a phone interview that took place the 1st of last month ... & she said that someone who contact me within 2 weeks ... but I haven't heard anything ... last month around the 24th I called HR and spoke wit her & asked was I still being considered for the position & said that she would have to get back with me ... but I still haven't heard anything ... all I know is that training starts this month, but I don't have a exact date ... so I guess what I'm askin is ... do I probably need to call it quits and accept I didn't get the job or could their stilll be a chance? cause I know frm lookin at Threads in this forum that the hiring process can take a while ... but I don't see how in this case if training starts this month ...

If the only contact you've had is over the phone then you probably are NOT being considered for further interviews. There are not gaurantees. I've seen applicants go as far as the background check and drug test and still not get a job offer.
