Direct Talk use?

can anyone tell me is it possible to use Direct Talk on two phones, which are not on nextel service?

nah they both have to have walkie-talkie phones i think
or atleast thats how it is with nextel boostmobile phones

you need any kind of PTT ( push to talk ) connectivity.
