Does nextel sim work with a boost phone

Can someone tell me if a nextel sim card will work with a boost phone? And what would i have to get it to work.

Yes it will work. The Boost phone would need to be unlocked. Then you would just insert your working sim card. Remember that not all cards are compatible with all phones and not all features assigned to the card will be available on certain phones.
Boost phones do not work any better or worse then Nextel phones.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of buy a boost phone off a my friend to replace my nextel but i think ill just stick with my old nextel.

if you look at your nextel sim card, there is a web site listed on it where you can find out..I used it to find a replacement phone.

Do Boost Mobile I415 sim card work for the I730 Nextel? Because i know that boost mobile is a off spring of Nextel.

I have a Boost Mobile I415. I have the sim card from the Boost Mobile. I want to know if the sim card form the Boost Mobile sim card will work for the Nextel I730 i have. I think i might i have posted this in a reply but i don't know how yo log in and someone answer that for me.

you can - but it will NOT work

actually - I am not sure - but you can put Nextel sim in GSM and it will display the carrier name (Nextel) on the display but there will be NO service due to the different standards - GSM and iDEN ! (although they use the same size SIM cards)

need help

hello!
i have a nextel sim card in a boost mobile, and im trying to download ringtones, but it ends up saying system busy.
is it because my nextel sim card is in a boost mobile?
