I730 I870 sim card

Can Anyone tell me if I buy a I870 will my sim card from my I730 work in it?

I tried to find information on this but ... I guess you'll have to try it

but there is no i870

your voice/ptt services will work fine. Your messaging, however, may or may not depending on the type of sim card you have. There are 2 types of the 64k yellow sim that comes with the 730. The older of the 2 will work and will allow you to do standard text messaging NOT MMS. The other of the 2 chips will potentialy keep you from messaging at all, the reason is because this chips actually reports the s/n of the phone it is currently working in back to the billing servers. In this case, the current s/n (870) will conflict with the s/n you have assigned to your phone # (730), preventing your phone from sending or receiving any messaging. Hope this helps

is that motorola i305 nextel 600 contact sim card is compatable for i855 or i850

it will work for sure...but i don't know if its dangerouse to the sim card i have heard some stuff about the sim cards like frying and stuff

I want to buy an i870 but i have a newer version ok the 64k sim card will everything work fine, i dont have text so i dont care about that. And can i buy a 128k sim card and transfer?
