6515 GPS with delorme

just got Delorme Handheld 2006, but am having trouble using it on my hp6515.
Under setting, there are 3 fields Device, ComPort and state. I read somewhere that the comPort should be set to COM7 (internal). Is that true? and what should the device be?
I tried a lot of different things but keep the phone says 'acquiring GPS fix' and keeps searching but can never find it. I tried under setting, connection, quick GPS connection and downloaded the latest file, but still am getting the same message
