Audiovox SMT 5600 Help - wont turn on

One day i was talking on my phone, an audiovox 5600, which is only about 3 months old, and it just turned off. The phone then would not turn on, nor would it even charge. Even after holding down the power button for a long period of time, and after replacing the battery several times, the phone still did not turn on.

I called the customer service and they said to send the phone in with a copy of the sales receipt, however i don't have a copy of it, so they replied saying they cannot do anything. If there is a way to reset the phone, or if there is anything i can do, please let me know, since i do not want to buy another phone this soon in the year. I appreciate any and all advice!! Thanks
