HTS Wizard 8125 no EDGE connection

Everytime I connect the device to the data network I get the GPRS connection, the EDGE connection is never mentioned. Do any of you know if Cingular is using the GPRS term generically. Meaning are they calling all connections GPRS instead of having the phone detail which connection it is really using. I did hook the device up to my laptop and got the modem working, connected at 230.4k.

thanks

If you look at thi little square box it shows an E. Remember EDGE is really EGPRS. If it were only running GPRS there would be a G in the box.
